Today is graduation ceremony of 2 Ta group’s members, Dr Yuao Wu and Dr Karla Vazquez-Prada. They worked on theranostics nanomaterials for inflammatory diseases and thrombosis. The works they contributed during their PhD time have resulted in several publications in high-impact factor journals:
-Dr Yuao Wu: 12 publications including 5 first-authored papers. Yuao actually completed his PhD in 2021 but decided to delay his ceremony until 2022 due to COVID. He is now research fellow in Ta group.
-Dr Karla Vazquez-Prada: 4 publications (2 first authored), and 5 more under review/preparation (3 first authored). Karla is now a research fellow in Grimm Lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, America.
